INTRODUCTION

You will inherit a global footprint across a number of regions and offices around the world; these cover an eclectic mix of emerging and established countries. The firm has invested heavily to create a solid foundation with a strong management team supported by a significant number of consultants and support staff. In all locations the firm has strong brand equity, a number of excellent client relationships, formal PSL status with blue chips and good billings. This is all backed up by the very best operational backbone this industry has to offer and a war chest of cash to invest to get to the next stage of their development.

 

THE ROLE

That next step is to appoint a global COO to drive this business unit; you will leverage the current infrastructure with a view to building critical mass and sales across the regions. This will include ensuring the firms core markets are represented across all of the offices, that team headcount meets the 2010 -2011 business plan, that clients are rolled out across the group and that each business operates as a cohesively as possible.

 

ABOUT YOU

Experience in Asia, Australia or the Middle East is a must, ideally applicants will have working knowledge of all regions. The location of the applicant is secondary although it is likely to be within one of the firms’ core geographies with significant travel both to the offices and to the global HQ. Significant tenure in the industry and a distinguished career is a pre requisite; you will have worked on a regional basis with 100 indirect reports as a minimum. The role would suit a business minded, operationally savvy director that also has a passion for driving sales.
